Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to process the x-ray images. Operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing Fluoroscopies, Plain X-ray and DEXA (Bone Densitometry). Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
• 1-3 years of x-ray experience is required
