Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care members. He/She follows the policies and procedures of HCA. The Registered Nurse interacts with other departments, patients/families, physicians, clergy, nurses, students, and outside agencies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• One year of Cath Lab experience preferred
• One year of RN experience in the hospital required

HCA Florida Highlands Hospital is a 126-bed acute hospital. We offer a full range of Emergency, Surgical and Inpatient and Outpatient services. We have served Sebring, Florida, and the surrounding counties since 1965. We offer advanced technology, attracting the most qualified physicians and surgeons in the area. Our Emergency Room is the area’s only dedicated Senior ER. This features designated parking and hearing amplifiers.
